【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitablefordeterminingtraceconcentrationsofironinawidevarietyofproducts,providedthatappropriatesamplepreparationhasrenderedtheironandsamplematrixsolubleinwaterorothersuitablesolvent.Eachsamplematrixmustbeinvestigatedforsuitabilityusingthistestmethod.Thistestmethodassumesthattheamountofcolordevelopedisproportionaltotheamountofironinthetestsolution.Thecalibrationcurveislinearoverthespecifiedrange.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofironintherangefrom0.01to0.2x03BC;g/gusingFerroZinereagentsolution.Therangemaybeextendedthroughtheuseofa5-or10-cmcellorbysuitabledilutionofthesamplesolution.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtobegeneralforthefinalstepsinthedeterminationofironanddoesnotincludeproceduresforsamplepreparation.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Reviewthecurrentmaterialsafetydatasheets(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,first-aidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see7.4.
