【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminethepercentageofresiduehavingaspecifiedpenetrationat100g/5sat25x00B0;C(77x00B0;F).Thistestmethodprovidesaresidueforqualitycontrolorforuseinothertestsasdesired.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtothermallyreducecutbackasphalt,aroadoilorasemisolidasphalt,havingapenetrationgreaterthan100,toaresidueofspecifiedpenetration.Itisprimarilyusedwithslow-curingcutbackasphaltasspecifiedinSpecificationD2026.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Warningx2014;MercuryhasbeendesignatedbytheUnitedStatesEnvironmentalProtectionAgency(EPA)andmanystateagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercurycontainingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsitex2014;http://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htmx2014;foradditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercury,mercury-containingproducts,orboth,intoyourstatemaybeprohibitedbystatelaw.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote2.
