【摘要】:Thistestmethodsetsforthaprocedurebywhichcatalystsamplescanbecomparedeitheronaninterlaboratoryorintralaboratorybasis.Itisanticipatedthatcatalystproducersanduserswillfindthismethodofvalue.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofmolybdenuminalumina-basecatalystsandhasbeencooperativelytestedatmolybdenumconcentrationsfrom8to18weight%,expressedasMoO3.Anycomponentofthecatalystotherthanmolybdenumsuchasiron,tungsten,etc.,whichiscapableofbeingoxidizedbyeitherferricorcericionsafterbeingpassedthroughazinc-amalgamreductorcolumn(Jonesreductor)willinterfere.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
