【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC8441specifiesrequirementsforunrecordedmagnetictapedesignedforhighdensitydigitalrecording(HDDR)havingthefollowingcharacteristics:a)nominalthickness25,4μm(0,001in);b)longitudinalmagneticorientation;c)coercivity72kA/m(900Oe)max.Thesetapesaresuitableforinterchangeinaccord-ancewithISO/IEC8441-2.Requirementsforpackagingarealsoincluded.NOTE1Tapesofcoercivityabove32kA/m(400Oe)areusuallyclassifiedashighenergytapesandusersshouldestablishcompatibilitywithequipmentusedfordrivingthem.AnnexAgivesguidanceonglassandmetal-flangedreels.AnnexBgivesinformationonthewearofre-cordingheads.DifferentcategoriesofenvironmentalconditionsandtheireffectsontapearedealtwithinannexC.Severeoperatingconditionsarecon-sideredinannexD.SurfaceelectricalresistancetestingisdealtwithinannexE.AtapeabrasivitytestingtechniqueisdescribedinannexF.AlistofbibliographicalreferencesisgiveninannexG.NOTES2Itisrecognizedthatarchivalinterchangetapes,orthoseproducedbysystemsinusepriortothepublicationofthispartofISO/IEC8441,maynotcomplywiththere-quirementsand/orrecommendationsherein.3Varioustestsandprocedureshereinrefertorecordingwitha.c.HFbias.Inpractice,certainHDDRsystemsdonotusebias.TheuseofbiasinthispartofISO/IEC8441doesnotimplythatthetapesotestedisinanywayun-suitableforabiaslesssystem.
