【摘要】:Thisdocument(CEN/TR1749:2009)hasbeenpreparedbyTechnicalCommitteeCEN/TCSFG_U“SectorForumGasUtilisation”,thesecretariatofwhichisheldbyAFNOR.Attentionisdrawntothepossibilitythatsomeoftheelementsofthisdocumentmaybethesubjectofpatentrights.CEN[and/orCENELEC]shallnotbeheldresponsibleforidentifyinganyorallsuchpatentrights.ThisdocumentsupersedesCEN/TR1749:2005.ThistechnicalreporthasbeenpreparedundertheaegisoftheSectorForumGasUtilisationcommitteetoprovideguidancetoCENTechnicalCommitteeswhoarepreparingEuropeanStandardsforappliancesburningcombustiblegases.Itgivesdetailsofageneralschemefortheclassificationofsuchappliancesaccordingtothemethodofevacuatingtheproductsofcombustion.Itmustbestressedthatthisschemeonlyconcernsgasappliancesthatareintendedtobeinstalledwithinbuildings.Itdoesnotapplytooutdoorappliances.Nevertheless,itisrecognisedthatthisapplianceclassificationschemecouldbeutilisedinothercircumstances.Forexample,inthecaseof:a)Appliancescapableofutilisingheatingoilorkerosene,andb)Gasappliancesintendedforinstallationinapartiallyprotectedlocationexternaltoabuilding.ThisformofapplianceclassificationiswidelyusedinthepreparationofEuropeanStandardsforgasappliancestoidentifytherequirementsandmethodsoftestthatareapplicabletothevariousmethodsofevacuatingtheproductsofcombustion.Appliancesclassifiedinthiswayaregenerallydescribedas“types”andthisdescriptionhasbeenretainedforthepurposesofthisgeneralscheme.Themainpurposeoftheschemeistopromoteharmonizationintheclassificationofappliancetypes.ThisshouldensurethatthereisaclearunderstandingofthevariousappliancetypesandwillavoidconfusionarisingfromTechnicalCommitteesdescribingthemindifferentways.CENTechnicalcommitteesarethereforerequestedtousethisschemeinallcircumstancesinwhichitisappropriate.Theyshouldnotdeviatefromitunlesstherearesoundtechnicalreasonsforsodoing.InthepreparationofthisschemeitwasnotedthatthereweremethodsofevacuatingproductsofcombustionthatwereparticulartoaspecificTechnicalCommitteeortoaparticulargasappliance.Theseparticularmethodshavenotbeenincludedinthepresentschemebecause,asindicatedabove,themainpurposeoftheschemeistopromoteharmonizationacrossTechnicalCommittees.However,itisintendedthatthisschemeshouldbereviewedfromtimetotimeinordertoconsideritsextensiontoother,possiblynew,methodsofevacuatingproductsofcombustion.Atthattime,suchspecificmethodsofevacuatingproductsofcombustionmaybeincludedattherequestoftheTechnicalCommitteesconcerned.
