【摘要】:Thisdocumentdealswiththesignificanthazards,hazardoussituationandeventsaslistedinClause4relevanttostationaryanddisplaceablesurfaceplaningandthicknessingmachineswithanintegratedfeedinthicknessingmode,(withorwithoutdemountablepowerfeedunitinplanningmode)andwithmanualloadingandunloadingofthework-piece,hereinafterreferredtoas"machines".Thecutterblockisfixedinpositionandforthicknessinganintegratedfeedisprovided.Themachinesaredesignedtocutsolidwood,chipboard,fibreboardandplywoodwhentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer.Thisdocumentdoesnotdealwithanyhazardswhichresultfromtheattachmentofanoptionalmortisingunit.ThesehazardsarecoveredbyprEN940:2007.Thisdocumentdoesnotapplyto:a)machinessetuponabenchoratablesimilartoabench,whichareintendedtocarryoutworkinastationaryposition,capableofbeingliftedbyonepersonbyhand;b)surfaceplaningandthicknessingmachineswherethecutterblockisadjustablefordepthofcutsettinginthicknessingmode;c)machineswheretheconversionfromplaningtothicknessingmodeorviceversaisachievedbymountingordemountingparts/units;d)machineswheresurfacingandthicknessingcanbeperformedatthesametime.ThisdocumentisnotapplicabletosurfaceplaningandthicknessingmachineswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofitspublicationasEN.
